Physical Description
:This monument was built in May, 1992 for the 50th anniversary of CFB Chilliwack.
The monument was not built in the shape of a mountain!
It was built in the shape of a Bell Tent as the original soldiers who came here lived in these Bell Tents. H Huts and other buildings were built later.
The original location of the monument was on a grassed area in front of the base Dental Clinic that was located where Market St is today.
The monument was brought back to the base area in 2015 (via Bob Ranger).
